10 Minutes of Shadowrun Beta Video

by BB

I reported last week that the Shadowrun beta was officially underway. In fact, the beta reached a more public audience than originally anticipated, but yours truly was not included in the beta.

For those of you who were also not selected for the beta, I have a special treat for you today. Shadowrun forum member S8 Biggs made a 15-minute video which I edited a bit to make it within the 10 minute minimum in YouTube. The only problem with the video is the audio is non-existent due to limitations on S8 Biggs’ end since he doesn’t have the proper connections to pull the sound, but who cares, we get our first glimpse at direct Shadowrun footage here people!

I was on the egde of buying this game, but now, I have to have it! So many spells, weapons, characters, techs, WOW! I LOVE the enteraction with the enviroment! Being able to block doorways, etc. I need to find money for this game! AND its not just a shoot-em-up like GoW! LOOK! A FLAG! WHOA! A spell that takes boosts/takes you through walls?!?!?! Think of the possibilities!

  2. Mazz Says:

It looks good. Will be interesting to see if they can balance all that out. There have been mods for PC FPS games that have tried similar things, but the balance is always off. Neat effect with the ice wall tho.

  3. Ephraim Says:

I say screw any game that doesn’t select an important member of the press such as you to beta test it! Down with Shadowrun!

  4. SSJGoku80 Says:

It looks rather interesting. The magic adds a little twist to it.

  5. Mazz Says:

I wonder how swordplay will pan out. Hopefully they will add an attack/counter system into the game.

  8. Ephraim Says:

All I know is it was bad enough when I didn’t get in for the Burning Crusade beta when I was playing WoW. If I don’t get in for the Home beta or Warhawk, I’m going to kill a couple hundred Teletubbies.

  9. elf decker Says:

so when are you gonig to destroy D&D and turn it into a FPS as well?
ShadowRUN is an RPG… this is a complete rip off of every damn FSP shooter there is.. big F’n deal!! make the game properly you $$ hungry bastards.
